Our Mission & Vision:

We have a simple, but robust mission: to financially assist our active duty and retired four legged heroes. We do that by focusing on community-based efforts including special events that educate and raise awareness on our supported heroes, and organization; and collect donations.

We want to make a difference in the lives of our heroes today, and everyday!

Helping our nation's four legged heroes one dog at a time!

A military working dog is a dog that is government property, just like any active duty human troop; each one belongs to the government. A MWD gets a tattoo with a letter and 3 numbers once they have completed their training and have officially become a MWD. The letter signifies the year they processed through the Dog Center, and the number is the actual number they were to process through that year. So our mascot, Rambo N577, was the 577thdog to process through in the year “N”.

Active duty MWDs are sent to a duty station, and typically they stay at that duty station until they retire. They can deploy from their duty station, go TDY with their handler, etc.

Once retired it is up to the adopted family to transport the dog to their home, and take over the care of the retired MWD.
