His previous handler was a bit vague on the details, but he was stationed at both Ft Campbell and Ft Hood, where he deployed to Afghanistan at least twice. He and his handler then PCS’d to Miesau, Germany where he was diagnosed with canine PTSD, He was retired, and one of the other handlers in the area adopted him. Due to his allergies, Sport requires a special diet. The man who adopted him did not give him that diet, and he became sick and very skinny. His previous handler took him from his adopter, but was unable to afford vet care for Sport. So 1 took him in, and am hoping to get him fixed up better than new as soon as possible
